Hope Springs Eternal in the Human Breast
Author: A. K. Thant (An EnglishExceptionalist)
“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness”. Hope is the most precious thing that we have. It stays with us forever and always. Sometimes it rises higher, and sometimes it runs low, but it will never leave us altogether. To cherish a desire with anticipation, we live in hope of a better day.
Hope sustains our life and gives us strength. Hoping that things will work out, especially when it seems otherwise, will help us reduce the feeling of hopelessness and will get us through it. Life without hope is a living death. There would be no meaning if there were nothing to live for. We need hope to live, and having hope will get us through the hardest of times.
We may hope for different things, but always hope for better things. Our funds are pretty low today, but who knows what the state lottery might bring on the drawing day? My promotion is not there yet, but I know it is in the offering. Even he, who is condemned by a dreadful disease, holds on to the hope that he will soon be able to join the family at the meals. We hope with an optimistic mind that is based on the expectation of positive outcomes.
We live by hope from day to day, and hope is the last thing we lose. All hope is not lost until God takes his hand off your case. If He is still with you, you can go to bed with your two eyes closed. We hope with our last breath that the good deeds we have done here in this life would lead us to a happier and better life. Hope is the last thing that leaves us in our life.
To conclude, it is important to have hope because hope will give us the strength to live. We all hope for things to be better, and we will not stop hoping until our last moment. Therefore, hope springs eternal in the human breast.
