One of The Longest Trips I Have Been In The Country

The trip would also be my creepiest trip if I knew the myths and its history of it. Usually, if we celebrate Thingyan this year, we go on a trip the following year. So, we went to Ngwe Saung during Thingyan with the whole family and even other relatives too. There were so many people on the trip. It was one of the longest trips that we have been to in our country.
On the way to Ngwe Saung, I think I saw a ghost there while my family was fixing the car, but I’m not sure. I had been thinking about it all day if it were someone or a ghost, but I didn’t get the answer. I’ll never know. We stopped at 105 Miles for a meal.
After that, we kept going. Our car had no way to be fixed in time, so we continued on the other car. After going for so long, we finally got to the hotel in Ngwe Saung. It was really dark when we arrived. Every single hotel room we got there was in the same bungalow. So, it was perfect. We put our bags down and went out for dinner. When we came back, we went for a walk in the hotel and went to bed.
The next day, we woke up early in the morning and played on the beach. We also collected some shells. We swam in the ocean in the evening. After that, we swam once more in the swimming pool. At night, a snake decided to come to visit the front of our bungalow. It didn’t harm anyone, but I forgot what happened to the snake.
Next day, most of the adults, including my parents, rode Jet-Skis. I also wanted to ride them, but I was too young. In the evening we played super large chess. Nothing special happened except that.
One day later, we decided to go to Chit Thu Myar island. We went there by a speedboat. It felt great. I thought my hat would run off from my head every second. While I was enjoying the ride, my father was scared. He wasn’t scared while riding the Jet-Ski but why was he scared riding a speedboat? Maybe because of the water depth and he couldn’t swim well. Anyway, we arrived there.
We weren’t allowed to follow them because it was dangerous and we were young. It was boring, so we swam at the beach for a while. It wasn’t as clean as the beach in front of our hotel. When it was time to get to the hotel, the speedboat was late. While waiting, the weather wasn’t as good as before, so we went back to the hotel by rickshaw.
The next morning, our car was ready. Someone from Yangon drove it all the way to Ngwe Saung. We took some photos and left Ngwe Saung. Our grandpa went the wrong way and went all the way to Chit Thu Myar island. It took a while, and we headed to Pyi. We stopped at Pathein once. After that, we had dinner in Pyi and went to a hotel. The hotel was made on top of a lake which is full of fishes. But it didn’t have a swimming pool.
The next day, we went to Pyu ancient city. We visited some pagodas, took some photos at the part of an ancient city wall and visited the grave of an ancient queen. It was my first time visiting there.
The next day we left Pyi. Even though we knew a famous actor and an actress were coming to the hotel we left because we had no time. My mother wanted to see the actor the most, I guess. We didn’t go home straight yet.
We went to Vishnu. I didn’t know the myths about it, so I didn’t think of anything scary. Even my mom asked me if I was scared. I didn’t know what to fear. We visited the Ancient city of Vishnu. We also visited the museum there. They also showed the plants that wouldn’t grow until the queen returned or something like that. I didn’t remember the myth well. While I was there, I was scared about nothing but a large group of dogs there. We bought some books there and continued the trip. The next destination was Magway.
There wasn’t anything special at Magway but just for resting. One good thing about the hotel was that it had a large pool. It was also a really deep pool at one end. We enjoyed swimming there, but the hotel rooms weren’t the best. The next morning, we headed back home.
The time wasn’t that long, but we travelled over a thousand miles by car. It was the longest trip that I have travelled in our country. I’m glad that I have gone there. Even though it’s kind of creepy, it could have been even creepier if I knew the myths. I would get bored if I went to Bangkok or somewhere this long. But for some reasons, I didn’t get bored there. It was also one of the best trips that I have been to.
